Ticket Images: Photos of ticket stubs you scan or upload
Event Data: Information extracted from tickets (artist/team name, venue, date, seat details, price)
Manual Entries: Any event information you manually add to the app

Location Data: GPS coordinates when you use the map feature (only with your permission)
Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers

4. Third-Party Services
TixSnip uses the following third-party services to provide functionality:
4.1 AI Scanning Services
Google Gemini: Processes ticket images to extract event information
Anthropic Claude: Backup AI service for ticket scanning
Data Shared: Only ticket images, temporarily processed and not stored by these services
4.2 Data and API Services
Ticketmaster API: Fetches venue information and coordinates for mapping
ESPN API: Retrieves team colors, logos, and branding for sports events
OpenStreetMap Nominatim: Geocoding service for venue locations
4.3 Infrastructure
Firebase Authentication: Secure user login and account management
Firebase Firestore: Cloud database for storing your ticket collection
Vercel: Hosting for our secure backend API
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
5.1 We DO NOT:

6. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
Access Your Data: Request a copy of all data we have about you
Delete Your Data: Delete your account and all associated data at any time within the app (see Section 7 for instructions)
Export Your Data: Download your ticket collection
Control Location Sharing: Enable or disable location services in your device settings
Opt Out of Analytics: Contact us to opt out of usage analytics
7. Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your TixSnip account at any time directly from within the app. To do so:
Open the TixSnip app and sign in to your account.
Tap the Profile tab.
Scroll to the Account section at the bottom of the screen.
Tap Delete Account and confirm your choice.
Deleting your account permanently removes all data associated with it, including:
Your account credentials (email and password)
All saved ticket stubs and event data
All uploaded photos and videos
All earned badges and statistics
Any notes and personal annotations
Deletion is immediate and irreversible. We do not retain any personal data after account deletion, with the exception of anonymized aggregate usage logs that cannot be tied back to you. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use TixSnip again in the future.
If you are unable to access the app to delete your account, you may request deletion by emailing odmatt@yahoo.com from the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days.
8. Children's Privacy
TixSnip is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately, and we will delete it.
9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
Right to know what personal information we collect and how it's used
Right to delete your personal information
Right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell your data)
Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights
10. European Users (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
Right to access, correct, or delete your personal data
Right to data portability
Right to restrict or object to data processing
Right to withdraw consent at any time
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Our legal basis for processing your data is your consent and our legitimate interest in providing app services.
11. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account:
All personal data is permanently deleted immediately
Ticket images and event data are removed from our servers
Anonymized usage data may be retained for analytics
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes:
We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top
Significant changes will be notified via email or in-app notification
Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy
13. International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
